Co-Founder – VEDANT KATHRANI – PLATE TO PEOPLE
Vedant Kathrani is a compassionate and driven individual with a deep commitment to serving his community and making the world a better place. His journey towards co-founding PlateToPeople began during a road trip when he pondered how he could create a positive impact. This spark of inspiration led him to discuss his vision with two like-minded individuals, Robi and Noor, who shared his passion for addressing pressing social issues.
What struck Vedant was the shocking revelation that perfectly good food from restaurants often went to waste at the end of the day, rather than being given to those in need. This realization fueled their mission. Together, Vedant, Robi, and Noor founded PlateToPeople, an organization dedicated to rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to those facing hunger.
Within PlateToPeople, Vedant assumed the pivotal role of Website Management and became a tireless advocate, forging meaningful partnerships with businesses, non-profits, and corporations. His persuasive and heartfelt approach has been instrumental in garnering support and resources for their cause.
Vedant’s unwavering dedication to PlateToPeople exemplifies his determination to create a more equitable and compassionate world. His leadership continues to drive the organization forward, ensuring that no one goes hungry, and surplus food finds its way to those who need it most.
